Today, we took a trip over to the pumpkin patch – they were having a great deal for our MOPS group, where Josie got a hay ride, a pumpkin, and an ear of corn for only $4! That’s my kind of deal. It was chilly and foggy, and I was kind of in love with it. Fall weather is so gorgeous and I love bundling up to keep the chill off.
We took a hay ride over to the pumpkin patch and the kids got to pick they’re own pumpkins and corn. Jo, who can be a little sensitive when it comes to weird textures (and dirt), refused to touch anything and said all the pumpkins were “Yucky.” She was ready to go within a few minutes, but I persevered and picked us out the perfect fall decor.
Luckily, there were old tractors to play on once we finished picking pumpkins – they kept my little tomboy busy forever and I’m sure she would have stayed on them all day if she hadn’t gotten hungry. 🙂
We’re planning on making the trek up to Green Bluff next weekend, so expect more farm pictures soon!
PS: All apologies to my father-in-law – even though the tractor pulling us around was a John Deere, every other one there was Allis Chalmers. They’re traitors, basically.
